Outlook 2002 Setup

User Information

  1. In Outlook 2002 / XP, select "Tools" > "E-mail Accounts."
  2. Select the "Add a new e-mail account" radio button.
  3. Click the "Next" button.
  4. Select the "POP3" radio button.
  5. Click the "Next" button.
  6. Your Name: Enter your first and last name. This is the name that will appear in the "From" field of messages you send.
  7. E-mail Address: Enter your entire email address (e.g., someone@mydomain.com).

Logon Information

  1. User Name: Enter your entire email address (e.g., someone@mydomain.com).
  2. Password: Enter the password for your email account. If you want Outlook to check for mail without prompting you to enter your password, check the "Remember password" box.
  3. Leave the "Log on using Secure Authentication (SPA)" box blank.

Server Information

  1. Enter the following information:
     
    • Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.websrvcs.com
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.websrvcs.com
    • Outlook 2002 / XP Server Information
  2. Click the "More Settings" button.

Internet E-mail Settings

  1. Click the "Outgoing Server" tab.
  2. Check the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" box.
  3. Select the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" radio button.
